The West Highland White Terrier Club of America has two specialties per year: the National Specialty, held in October each year in Pennsylvania, and the Roving Specialty, hosted by a WHWTCA regional club and held in that club's state. They both include conformation and performance events. The two specialties, in diverse locations, allow more Westie owners to participate in club events.
